The initiative topic of the department is “Transformational processes in modern world: social, political, philosophical, cultural and educational aspects”. Research priorities, possible methodological approaches, aims of investigation, and the main expected results have been established by the department.
Theoretical and methodological principles of research process were found out and discussed at conferences and theoretical seminars of the department.
Scientific and educational work plan for the next year includes: publication of monographs, teaching aids, methodic recommendations, academic articles and abstracts of reports for professional journals according to the initiative topic of the department.

Ph. D. in Philosophy, associate professor Artemenko Ya. I. is planning the thesis for the doctoral degree “Ontology of transversal subject: problem of presence”. During a year Ya. I. Artemenko has published 3 academic articles and 1 abstract of report.
THESES FOR THE CANDIDATE DEGREE
Teaching assistant Yakuba A. O. is working on the thesis for the candidate degree “Genesis and Formation of Pharmacy in Kharkiv in 19th – early of 20th centuries” (scientific advisor professor Ivanova K. A.). A. O. Yakuba has analyzed the historiography of the topic. The main results of the investigation are published in the academic articles and abstracts of reports.
